The AOIC aims to provide a network of practising Celebrants who are trained to s standard of excellence and/or experienced in conducting Ceremonies.
The AOIC aims to provide a network of practising Celebrants who are trained to s standard of excellence and/or experienced in conducting Ceremonies.

The AOIC will at all times, promote the individuality of the Celebrant and their work, recognising it as such.

The AOIC will provide support and give guidance to its members by way of meetings, regular newsletters, in-house training/workshops and anything else agreed between its members.

The AOIC aims to be trusted by the Funeral Profession and other contracting organisations, who should be able to use our members with the utmost confidence.

The AOIC aims to enhance public awareness that they are free to have whatever content they wish during their Ceremony. For example, a family may have a totally non-religious Ceremony or include religious or spiritual references/practice and with family members or friends participating in the service by means of personal tributes, readings, music or any thing else they feel is appropriate.

The AOIC will not govern its members with harsh demands - we are a group that supports and respects each other for what we already do and for our individuality.
