Celebrant Training
| The Association of Independent Celebrants (A.O.I.C.) is an equal opportunities organization and believes and supports those less fortunate than most, and understands the impact of discrimination on people, policy and society. |
 |
|
| The A.O.I.C. will never refuse membership, or a place on any of their training courses due to a disability.
We do however, following
receipt of a completed
application form,
reserve the right to
check the suitability of
each potential student
contemplating entering a
very personal and
demanding role in life. |
| The nature of our business may, at times, prove difficult to operate for those in a wheel chair, but as an organization, we are committed to help where we can, and give necessary advice in order to help and aid such Celebrants in the performance of their duty. |
| Our members come from all walks of life including,
Wedding Organisers,
Caterers, Clergy, Bereavement
Counsellors, Toastmasters, Registrars and Funeral Directors. We find that the main skill is the instant ability to get on with people. |

Entry to Full A.O.I.C. Membership
can follow, but is not restricted to those who have completed our own training course, the content of which is under constant review, but can take many forms.

We are always attempting to
update and provide the best training
for those who wish to enter this
business.
Currently
therefore the AOIC Training for
Funeral and Weddings is under a
total review, the results of which
should be available later this year.
In the meantime, do not hesitate
to send us your details if you are
interested and we will be in touch
as soon as details are known.
Thanks you for your patience
